Films
For 30 years, I’ve been working as a journalist and documentary filmmaker for German and French public TV (ARD, ZDF, ARTE, 3sat), museums and agencies. I’m filming documentaries and shorter magazine reports about literature and art, culture and philosophy, but also society and economy. I like to do portraits – of well-known or just ordinary people, with big commitments or just a great spleen.
My films have been awarded with the French-German Journalism Award and the Juliane Bartel Media Award.
I’m interviewing a lot of people – not only in German, but also in English, French and Spanish.
Films are team work – the total is more than the individual parts. I love working with my wonderful colleagues in production, camera, sound, editing, graphics, music and voice-over.
