As a filmmaker I’m exploring the visible universe.
As a translator I’m immerging into the worlds of others.
As a texter I’m creating new ones.
I studied comparative literature and philosophy
in Germany and France.
For 20 years I’ve been a journalist and documentary filmmaker for German and French public TV
(competent filmproduktion).
That means a lot of translation, too.
I’m translating from English and French into German, since 1994: catalogue essays and nonfiction books, newspaper articles and research papers.
Texting is my daily work –
journalism and science, websites and apps, customer brochures or magazines.
